Mother series
- Ness is Giygas. He would have been "Kindness" if anyone had ever been kind to him or had he known kind.
- I'm so sad… ness… nessnessnessness…
- Giygas' Japanese name is ギーグ, which with some 連濁 creativity can be conflated with the pronunciation of the word "king." He's a conceptual lifeform and knows no weakness until he, as Giegue, is introduced to the human condition by assuming a human form and family.
- The Mother series is based off of our stories. Our lives, or moreso our trials, were planned. There's a few people like me and some number of others who didn't fully join the fray.
- A few holes in the development narrative serve as hints of this, like the claimed origin movie scene for Giygas' appearance not actually having been present in said movie.
- The Masked Man's principal background is a vagina. He's—she's—a transwoman who was never permitted to address her dysphoria and an individual who wasn't shown how to value anything but strength, and even this was taught to her through violence.
- The American government likes me the most, so most media that references this type of thing mainly regards my story. There were two before me, but their trials were significantly more brutal and carried out by less competent people and they didn't want this sort of immortality. They weren't necessarily American, either. In any case, my accounts and sites may be removed without warning when I unwittingly overshare or am too direct about sensitive information, but I would rather self-terminate a thousand times over than talk of the those two without their consent.
Internet rabbit holes
- Captain Kutchie's Key Lime Pie: کوچۍ is a Persian (pronounced more like "kuchies" in Pashto) word for a socioeconomic group of pastoral nomads who mainly live in Afghanistan.
- 'Lime' and sometimes 'lemon-lime' are memetic callsigns. If they have meaning in isolation, I'm not aware, but yes there's a relation to the BOY 💜️
Internet history and culture
- "Fifty francs, Mademoiselle." – The King in Yellow
- Zalgo is less a horror story and more an introduction in taking advantage of relatively-misimplemented Unicode functionality and control characters to cause damage to websites. However, it is a beautiful work in itself and is based on a real, conceptual phenomenon.
- OneDrive rejects filenames with variant selectors, a form of control character typically used to force Chinese characters to render in different national or historical forms—some companies such as Samsung implement subtle variants of Western letters, too, in this way. Most social media websites and applications outright cull these control characters.
